I use it on my own computer, but for music going through PAs I generally have it disabled so that the FOH operation can be sure to have full control of the source audio.

What about the Sound Enhancer? What are your opinions about that? I use it, but i'm just curious what kind of difference it makes "live".

i use crossfade all the time. in fact i think of it as a standard whenever i play music anymore. I set mine on 6 seconds (i.e., the last 3 seconds of the previous track and first 3 seconds of the next). Going too much over that would cause too much dissonance, taking away from both tracks.

iTunes DJ is also a nice added feature that accompanies this topic.
